Thanksgiving in Nkongsamba

Thanksgiving dinner in Nkongsamba…BBQ chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, cranberry sauce, red wine and all topped off with pumpkin pie.
The only thing we were missing was family.

  1. I remember Thanksgiving being especially hard during my Peace Corps service – so far away from family and friends and “home” in general. In Kazakhstan, the volunteers always got together to celebrate Thanksgiving with a big feast and lots of vodka. 🙂 It doesn’t look like you had the same luxury, but your plate certainly looks fabulous! Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving!

    • Thanks for the note! We were definitely missing family and American football, but we enjoyed our dinner all the same. Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving back in the US!
